As honorable as it is to be a nurse, Donna Riemer does so much more. Nurse Donna not only monitors medications and chronic health concerns, she also assists with everyday needs such as meals, showers, scheduling, and accompanies her to provider appointments. Donna helps mom with social activities and has been instrumental in making cue cards for her at-home physical therapy exercises. Donna has set up mom's account at the grocery store & pharmacy for home delivery. The list goes on and on. Most importantly, I think, is the companionship they share. Mom lives 150 miles from any of us and it is comforting to know that Donna is "right around the corner". I honestly don't know what we would do without her. Without her, there's no way mom could continue living at her home. So grateful we met Nurse Donna.
